The Prepared Kids Water Filter Straw

Let's unbox the Prepared Kids' water filter straw and all it's included accessories. The water filter straw itself uses activated carbon for advanced purification. It is manually powered by you, so no batteries required.

There are 3 stages contained in the Prepared Kids water filter straw –

Stage 1 is the screen pre-filter. It removes large particles found in natural water sources.

Stage 2 is the Activated Carbon. This removes chlorine, VOC’s and other harmful chemicals plus reduces odour and improves the overall taste.

Stage 3 is the hollow fibers filter that filters out particles and harmful bacteria as small as 0.1µm (microns). With the Prepared Kids water filter straw there is -

99.999% Protozoan Parasite removal

99.999% Micro-Plastic removal

99.999% Bacteria removal

Real Life Gear Tip: When using your Prepared Kids water filter straw for the first time, or after it has dried out, drink through the straw like you are drinking a milkshake - it may take a few good draws to suck it up at first but then will flow easily.

The accessories the are included with your Prepared Kids water filter straw are a lanyard, a water storage bag, a carabiner with keyring, an extender tube and a syringe for flush cleaning in case of any debris getting stuck.

The storage bag has a duel purpose - you can use it as extra space to transport clean water, in addition to your Prepared Kids 32oz stainless steel water bottle, your Prepared Kids 2L dry bag and your Prepared Kids First Aid kit 2L dry bag.

Or, you can fill it with water from a suggested water source and screw on the water filter straw to the bag and drink from there.
