Welcome to the Prepared Kids family! As a passionate outdoorsy Canadian mom, I understand the importance of keeping our children safe and prepared for any unexpected situation. That’s why I created Prepared Kids —an innovative solution for parents who want to protect and empower their kids but find emergency preparedness daunting and often too costly. 

At Prepared Kids, we offer thoughtfully curated emergency preparedness backpack kits tailored specifically for children. Unlike standard emergency kits that cater primarily to adults, our backpacks are crafted with your child's safety, ability and well-being in mind. These kits meet the unique needs, skills, and comfort levels of kids, ensuring they are ready for any situation while also feeling secure in their own abilities. I wrote this book with my own children in mind – if they were in an emergency scenario and I wasn’t there to guide them, what would I want them to know to empower them in that moment? What would give them the comfort and strength to be safe and to make it back to me?
